THE SUNDAY POST #35

001. One of my highlights this week was hearing Dame Vivienne Westwood speak at the opening of the Climate Control exhibition at Manchester Museum. I wanted to see her talk because I'm interested in her style and her work as a designer, but I had no idea about her passion for climate change. The way she spoke was inspiring and I learnt a lot from the exhibition itself. Full post coming soon.

002. I've been shopping twice this week and all I've picked up is this white jacket from Primark for £5. I'm loving the vibe in Mango at the moment, lots of clean lines and white floaty tops, but most of the shops I went into seem really uninspiring. With a few weddings coming up this summer I really need to find outfits but even ASOS isn't cutting it at the moment. Any recommendations?

003. For the last couple of weeks I've been following a new exercise routine; every week I do one lower body day, one upper body day, one swim and one class. I've also been doing ab videos at home most mornings, and I'm loving this one from fitness blender and this 10 minute workout. Whilst I haven't lost any weight I'm definitely feeling stronger and healthier, and I've actually been looking forward to hitting the gym in the mornings.

004. I'm currently three weeks away from my final exams, after which I'll be completely done with education. After studying for so many years of my life, the prospect of working full time in an office is exciting. I haven't yet got a job lined up for when I graduate, and I'm definitely running out of time, so rather than revision breaks spent on Netflix, you'll find me on LinkedIn instead!

005. Having run out of my favourite Soap & Glory Supercat liner and the Lancôme Hypnôse mascara, I thought I'd try some bits from NYX instead of repurchasing those. I picked up the matte liquid liner and the lush lashes mascara in full figured. I really like the look of the matte liner, it created a beautiful thin line and stayed on my hand really well. Has anyone tried any other products from NYX?

  2. Ahh I can't believe I didn't know about Vivienne Westwood speaking at the museum - I so would have gone to that! Love that jacket, can't believe it was so cheap! Love NYX too, I've got a butter gloss and the suede lips lip cream, their shades are awesome.
