THE SUNDAY POST #32

001. Last night I went to Cirque Du Burlesque with Alex from Champagne & Lemonade. It was definitely something different to do on a Saturday night and all the dancers were fantastic. The venue was amazing, although it is a little way out of town (£10 taxi from deansgate) and a bit hard to find. Entry is £25 but you do get a cocktail on arrival. I'd definitely recommend it for a special occasion such as a hen or stag do, or a birthday. I'm wearing some printed trousers from asos and a simple zara cami, which I paired with this hot pink coat.
002. TV is especially great at the moment, with Bake Off getting really tense and Downton Abbey being back on, although it's sad as it's the last season. I've also been excited for #tgit as I love all of Shonda's programmes, especially Grey's Anatomy. What have you all been watching recently?
003. Wahaca is one of my favourite places to eat in London, so when a branch opened in Manchester I couldn't wait to go. Between a few of us we tried the crab, salmon, and chicken tostadas, the chorizo quesedillas, the chicken tinga burrito, and baja fish tacos. The food was delicious but we found all the tostadas and the tacos to be a little bland. For dessert we had churros with chocolate and caramel sauce (the caramel is amazing) and salted caramel ice cream. My favourite drink there is the wahaca mule, which is tequila, ginger beer and lime. So refreshing!
004. This week I've been full of a cold and suffering with really dry patches on my skin, so I've stayed in most days. To get rid of my dry skin I tried all sorts of hydrating masks and oils, but the only product that actually worked was E45 cream. Sometimes the simple things are the best.
005. After eating out a lot this week, I'm feeling a bit crappy so I've created a meal plan for next week and done a big grocery order. Some of the dishes I'm going to be trying are this prawn and lemon butter spaghetti, and this tex mex sweet potato skillet. Follow this pinterest board for loads more healthy meal ideas.

Looks like you had a great week with the exception of the cold, I've been feeling a little under the weather since yesterday, might as well get it out of the way before Winter arrives!
