THE SUNDAY POST #30

001. This week has been pretty hectic, and so I've lived off milk, doritos, cookies and fast food. Whilst I've lost a lot of weight recently, my skin and tummy are feeling the effects of eating such junky food. I've been drinking a lot of peppermint and green tea this weekend, and I'm doing a meal plan and a big grocery shop for next week to keep me on track. If you have any healthy meal ideas let me know in the comments. I pin lots of easy, healthy recipes here so if you have any recipes on your blog I'd love to know.

002. Some of my best friends were away last year, either abroad or on placement years. I didn't realise how much I missed them until this week, where I've been so excited for them to come home. I can't wait to go on lots of nights out and have many girly evenings with them.

003. So my bank cancelled my old card before sending out a new one. It's such a pain having to go in branch and queue up to get cash out and they've said my new one won't be here until the end of this week! I like to think I'm saving money though as I haven't made any random ASOS or etsy orders.

004. I'm off to London next weekend; my cousins and I are going to see Book of Mormon and have a nice dinner. Any recommendation for new places to eat in central London? I'm looking forward to seeing them as I haven't in a while, and it's our last girly trip before my cousin has her second baby. I can't wait to be an aunty for the third time!

005. One of my goals for this year is to get a lot more houseplants, especially after seeing this post from Kate. I love having greenery in the house, and I already have a few cacti and a lucky bamboo on my desk, but I'd love Mother In Laws Tongue in the kitchen as well as some air plants. I've gotten into a habit of always having fresh flowers in but that can get quite pricey so I definitely will pick up some more plants next time I go to IKEA.

  1. My friends and I have also been away during a year in industry so it is so exciting that we will be seeing each other again in a weeks time! More house plants is a personal goal of mine too! I'm going to get lots of cacti because they are great and don't need too much upkeep!

  2. Lovely post - enjoy book of Mormon! Restaurant tips for London - really depends on what you like, and if you want to avoid chains or not. Personal faves are Zizis and Carluccios for Italian, but you can find those restaurants anywhere! Maybe Wahacca's or Meat Market for a more London experience :) xx
