Despite having thick locks already, the desire for volume is a never-ending quest.  There are a few products I've been trying out recently, and I thought it was about time to pop up an edit of the best. Everyone wants big, bouncy hair swishing around in the summer, like the women you see on shampoo adverts, but is it really possible?

The L'Oreal Fibrology range uses some seriously impressive technology to provide thicker hair: read here for the full deets. So far I've been using the shampoo, conditioner and thickening masque for a few weeks and whilst I haven't noticed much difference in the fullness of my hair, it feels lighter and bouncier after every wash. I already have very thick hair, but read some reviews from people with thin hair and you will see that this range really does work!

TIGI Bed Head Superstar Queen for a Day Thickening Spray is one of my all time favourite volumising sprays. Two sprays to the roots and an upside down blowdry will have you looking like you've stepped out of the salon, all with minimum effort. P.S.. the bottle lasts ages.

Charles Worthington Volume and Bounce Texturising Spray is my go to night out volumiser.. It's a little bit hairspray-esque meaning things can get very straw-like the next day, but it provides the necessary boost for an big, evening look. Spray onto the roots, tip upside down and tousle for extra volume and hold.

What products do you use to get bigger hair?
