THE BODY SHOP VITAMIN E RANGE DUPE

I'm pretty sure you guys know how much I love The Body Shop's Vitamin E range; I've mentioned it enough times on the blog already. However, with each product costing £10+ buying all your skincare from the range can get pretty pricey. In comes the drugstore dupe.. Superdrug have a fantastic Vitamin E range at bargain prices. Not all of them live up to the Body Shop range, but the whole range is good value for money, gentle on the skin and has an inoffensive smell, unlike some other cheap skincare.

The all over body cream is really hydrating, sinks in easily and leaves skin soft. It lasts for ages and is my go-to summer moisturiser.. It also works really well as shaving cream. The skin oil is another favourite product; a drop added to foundation creates a dewy glow, and it's also good for correcting any dry patches.

The facial moisturiser and eye cream don't really do anything to benefit my skin, but they aren't too rich, don't irritate my skin and both contain SPF 15. The scrub is a good product for the price, it does what it says on the tube but I personally prefer just using exfoliating gloves.

The hot cloth cleanser is the standout product for me. This is a great budget alternative to Liz Earle's Cleanse & Polish, complete with a muslin cloth. Whilst this doesn't remove as much makeup as the original, it leaves skin feeling clean and smooth and regular use has really reduced my breakouts.

Superdrug have a number of other products in this range, such as an in-shower moisturiser and a night cream. I know I'll be picking up a few more things next time I'm in store... Will you?

  2. I tried some things from this range and my skin really didn't get on with them, I picked up the eye cream and the hot cloth cleanser and my eyes became so sore :( and my skin was red and blotchy! It was the first time it had ever happened with any skin care, heard good things about the range from others though! xxxx

  3. Oh no, that's such a shame because it is such good value for money! Just shows that not everything works for all skin types though x

I actually have one of these products in my beauty cabinet, but I haven't tried it. I must have a go soon. Admittedly I have a bit of a beauty hoarding problem and I often buy products I don't always use! eep xx
