PLANE & SIMPLE BEAUTY BAG | TRAVEL ESSENTIALS

If you don't follow me on twitter, and haven't seen all my excited tweets, you may not know that I am going to Florida tomorrow. Having got back from uni on Saturday night, I have frantically been packing and unpacking my uni things, and packing my suitcase all weekend. What with exams before that, and then trying to get all my holiday shopping done I have been neglecting HIW. There will be posts going up whilst I'm away (follow me on Bloglovin' to find out when) but normal blogging will resume when I return.

So what am I taking away with me beauty wise? I've packed my essentials for the plane into this little bag from Ted Baker, making it easy to see what I have. Because liquids need to go through security separately, a clear make-up bag means no more rummaging around transferring products into a sandwich bag at security.

First up, from the left, essentials:
My contact lenses, kirby grips and hair ties, and hand sanitiser. A toothbrush and mini Oral B toothpaste will be necessary for such a long journey, and Boots dry eye drops to combat redness and itchy eyes. A mirror for touch ups, and a Zara woman perfume sample to keep me smelling fresh.

Next, lotions and potions to moisturise and treat my skin over seven hours:
The Body Shop Vitamin E eye cream, which I blogged about here, will revive tired under eye skin. La Roche Posay Effaclar Duo is my spot treatment of choice, and Elizabeth Arden Eight Hour Cream will work as a bit of everything, particularly an intensive moisturiser for my hands and face. Caudalie lip conditioner will ensure my lips don't dry out on the flight. All of these products will be getting a review soon, so keep your eyes peeled if you want to see them

Finally, make up essentials for looking groomed when I land:
Rimmel Hide the Blemish concealer and BB cream will give my skin a healthy glow, and hide all signs of tiredness. I'm also taking Revlon lip butter in candy apple for a slick of colour, and Rimmel kohl eye pencil  and Maxfactor Masterpiece waterproof mascara for wide awake peepers.

I also need to grab face wipes at the airport (and no doubt will end up with many other beauty bits). Is there anything I am missing? What multi-purpose products do you love for travelling?
