sk:in Vitamin-Rich Cleanser for dry or sensitive skin - Boots £11 (currently £7.33)
I picked this cleanser up in Boots a few weeks ago. I've never used anything from sk:n before and this cleanser appealed to me as it isn't soap based, it contains key vitamins - A,C and E, and allantoin which I've heard can be moisturising for dry skin. It also contains evening primrose oil to soothe and heal.

I initially liked the packaging of the product, it's simple and clear, but what really annoyed me is the fact that it doesn't have a full list of ingredients on the bottle. I bought the product and when I got home, I read the full ingredients list here.. I don't know a lot about product ingredients but to me it seems like quite chemical based product.

I've been using this cleanser for a few weeks now. The product is quite thin, but has a nice fresh scent. It reminds of a perfume my mum had when I was a child, but it's not an overbearing scent at all. It's designed to be wiped gently over dry skin with a cotton pad, and rinsed off with water. It claims to remove make up and impurities. As I mentioned in my last post, my skin is dry and can be sensitive and prone to blemishes. I don't feel like this cleanser removes all my make up, and whilst it leaves my skin feeling soft after use, it doesn't do anything to clear my spots or make my skin look healthier. It does say to avoid the eyes, but I used it on my eye make up the other day, and whilst it didn't remove all of my mascara and eyeliner, it didn't sting my eyes either.

I know that I won't be repurchasing. I prefer cleansers that do more to help my skin look brighter and clearer. I think this cleanser could be ideal if you have normal or sensitive skin, and you are not looking for anything to fight spots and make your skin clearer. This is a really gentle product, it didn't irritate my skin at all, but I know I need something stronger to remove my make up. sk:n also do cleansers for normal and oily skin, and the formula is really different, with the oily skin cleanser being a gel. You can buy it online here.

I'm not sure how I feel about trying any more products from sk:n. I know they do exfoliating washes, which I may try in the future. Can anyone recommend any other good products from the brand?
